Born within the heat and thirst ravaged minds of a pair of adventure seeking XC pedal heads, the ultimate Chilko Challenge (UCC) will pit participants against 126kms (or so) of punishing, derailleur eating, hike a biking in the most beautiful remote corner of Southern BC.  From moments of pure sweet single track to frustrating gnarly “you call this a trail”, the three days will leave you yearning for more.

The three-day event will circumnavigate the Potatoe Range. Wedged between the awesome grandeur of Chilko Lake and the stunning beauty of Tatlayoko Lake, the scenery and views should act as the world’s largest PowerGel.

The challenge will consist of three long days of mountain biking.  At the end of each day teams (of two) will end each stage at a beautiful lodge for refueling and camping.  The lodges will provide meals and a fabulous base for friends and family to await the beaten and tired riders.  The first nights destination will be provided by Howsie and Annette of the Chilko River Lodge.  The second nights destination will be provided by Alex and Connie Bracewell’s Wilderness Lodge.
