NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS

This trial shall be held under the Agility Association of Canada Rules and Regulations.  All equipment used in this trial are within standards set out by the Agility Association of Canada guidelines.  All dogs over two years must have a card and be measured twice, each time by a different judge, or three times in the case of dogs that are within one inch (over or under) of a height that means a change of jump height.
Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of AAC Rules and Regulations, including but not limited to the following:

This test is open to all dogs being at least 18 months of age, including purebred and non-purebred, except bitches in season, dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog’s physical or mental performance, or dogs exhibiting signs of aggression.
·        
No leads, collars, food, toys, or other aids or devices shall be permitted on the course at any time (with the exception of collars during familiarization).
·        
It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dog(s) and/or children.  Any exhibitor whose dog(s) and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be asked to leave the show grounds and no refund of fees paid will be made.
·        
Exhibitors must keep crate and exercise areas clean.  Please pick-up after yourselves and your dog(s).

We advise that there will be no concession available.

DEFINITION OF CLASSES:

Agility Dog of Canada - Starters
A dog must achieve three (3) clear rounds (no course or time faults) under at least two (2) different Judges in the Starters Standard Class at one or more sanctioned AAC trials conducted pursuant to these rules and regulations. The Agility Dog of Canada title certifies that the dog has demonstrated its agility through the successful performance of the minimum standards permitted in agility. 

Starters
Games Dog of Canada
A dog must achieve one (1) clear round in each of the four Starters-level games (jumpers, gamblers, snooker and team relay) under at least two (2) different judges. The Starters Games Dog of Canada title certifies that the dog has demonstrated versatility through the successful performance of the minimum standards permitted in each of the four games. 

Advanced Agility
Dog of Canada
A dog must achieve three (3) clear rounds under at least two (2) different Judges in the Advanced Standard Class at one or more sanctioned AAC trials conducted pursuant to these rules and regulations. The Advanced Agility Dog of Canada title certifies that the dog has demonstrated its advanced degree of agility with emphasis on handler control, speed and consistency of performance above the minimum standards. 
Advanced Games Dog of Canada

A dog must achieve two (2) clear rounds in each of the four Advanced-level games (jumpers, gamblers, snooker and team relay) under at least two (2) different judges. The Advanced Games Dog of Canada title certifies that the dog has demonstrated an advanced degree of versatility with emphasis on handler control, speed and consistency of performance above the minimum standards permitted in each of the four games. 

Masters Agility Dog of Canada
A dog must achieve three (3) clear rounds under at least two (2) different Judges in the Masters Standard Class at one or more sanctioned AAC trials conducted pursuant to these rules and regulations.  The Masters Agility Dog of Canada title certifies that the dog has demonstrated its high degree of agility with further emphasis on handler control, speed and consistency of performance above the Advanced standard.  

Agility Trial Champion of Canada
This title is awarded to a dog that has achieved the Master Agility Dog of Canada, Masters Jumpers, Masters Gamblers, Masters Snooker, and Masters Team Relay titles. A dog must demonstrate its versatility within the sport through a stringent qualification process. 
Masters Gamblers Dog of Canada 
A dog must successfully complete the requirements for the Masters Gamblers Class three (3) times under at least two (2) different Judges to achieve this title. 
Masters Team Relay Dog of Canada
A dog must successfully complete the requirements for the Masters Team Relay Class three (3) times under at least two (2) different Judges to achieve this title. 
Masters Jumpers Dog of Canada
A dog must successfully complete the requirements for the Masters Jumpers Class three (3) times under at least two (2) different Judges to achieve this title. 
Masters Snooker Dog of Canada
A dog must successfully complete the requirements for the Masters Snooker Class three (3) times under at least two (2) different Judges to achieve this title. 
Masters Steeplechase Dog of Canada
A dog must successfully complete the requirements for the Steeplechase Class ten (10) times under at least four (4) different Judges to achieve this title. 
Specials Agility Class
The Specials Class shall be for all dogs, more for dogs that have limited jumping ability.  This Class will be scored under the provisions of Chapter 3 of the AAC Rules and regulations.

Veterans Agility Class

The Veterans Class shall be for all dogs 7 years of age or older.  This class will be scored under the provisions of Chapter 3 of the AAC Rules and regulations.


Disciplinary Procedure
Any handler who is found to abuse a dog in any way at any AAC sanctioned event will be required to leave the site. In an incident of abuse or dog aggression, toward another dog or person, occurs, the incident MUST be reported to the Judge or Trial officials. Anyone witnessing an act of abuse or aggression may make a complaint to the host club and or AAC.

NO entries accepted after postal date stamp of the closing dates.  Make sure all is correct before submitting.

Refunds for entries withdrawn after the closing date with or without adequate reason, will be at the discretion of the trial secretary, with a charge of $10.00 for handling purposes. There will be no refund in the event of a dog and/or handler being dismissed from competition, regardless of reason for such dismissal.  If your dog(s) move up at a trial just prior to this one, please inform me by phone or email no less than seven (7) days prior to this trial or such move up will not be allowed.
PRIZES AND AWARDS
: Ribbons for 1st through 4th, in each height class.   Gold, Silver and Bronze for all Junior Handlers.  AAC Qualifying ribbons.  Title ribbons for ADC, SADC, VADC, AADC, SAADC, VAADC. MADC, SMADC, VMADC, ATCHC, SATCHC, VATCHC.

Going East on No. 1 Highway from Vancouver

Take the No. 3 Road turnoff - South
Follow it to the very end, it makes a jog to the right and then immediate left at Tolmie Road
T intersection is Yarrow Central Road, turn left.
Follow through community, over railroad tracks.  About 2.5 kms on left big wooden sign "Vedder River Campground", turn left
Going West on No. 1 Highway from Hope
Take the Sardis turnoff - South
Follow it through Sardis, Vedder Crossing over Vedder Bridge
Past the Cultus Lake Road exit and continue along mountain side, about 4 kms on right big wooden sign "Vedder River Campground", turn right.
