Cassie - Rescue dog - Border Collie x Blue Heeler
Did agility because her handler asked her to and was good at it. Was best
friend to Jacqui.

D.J. - Border Collie (albeit with docked tail, from Douglas Lake Ranch).
D.J. was a rescue whose master passed away. He became
accustomed to the hurly-burly of eight other dogs and he was David's shadow,
following him everywhere and very vocally welcoming him whenever he came home. He
had a calm, sweet temperament and was obviously treated very well by his former
master. He loved to play fetch, go for rides in any vehicle and David started him on herding, just for
fun, and he thought that was pretty cool too. Was best friend to David.
MERLE

Merle - Border Collie - Dam to Oakley, Cinder, Fyre, Spry
and Trigger.
Did agility, was ok but didn't really enjoy it, now retired because of lameness
in rear legs and Spondalosis. She was diagnosed with bone cancer in her
right front leg in the summer of 2008 and was given four months. She
lasted 11 months, but the cancer did not undo her, ligament in her left rear
leg gave way and surgery was not an option with everything else that she has
been going through. We choose to let her go. Was the beginning
of the Pure-bred Border Collies. I will miss her terribly.

SPARKY

Sparky - rescue dog - Miniature Pinscher
Did flyball until ruptured disk stopped that. Did agility until the same
time, went back to agility and received several more titles before having a
mini stroke and retiring once more.
Has been dealing with sever arthritis for some time and finally it became to
much for him and we let him go. Best friend of Adrian.
