1st West Vancouver Scout Group


The 1st West Vancouver Scout Group was organized in 1927 with the formation of a Cub Pack.  Weekly meetings were held at St Stephen's Church, an association that continues to this day.


The provincial Scouting organization granted charter number 142 to the 1st West Vancouver Scout Troop on February 11, 1932.

Today, the 1st West Vancouver Scout Group provides programs for participants from age 5 to 26. If you're looking for something that will provide age appropriate activities, with an emphasis on the outdoors, consider Scouting.

Celebrate Scout-Guide Week at the

1st West Vancouver Family Pot-Luck Dinner


·        Wednesday, Feb. 20;  6:30 pm to 8:30pm

  • Gleneagles Community Centre, 6262 Marine Drive West Vancouver
  • Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Scouters and Parents welcome

This is a pot-luck supper so please bring either:

  • Appetizer
  • Main Dish
  • Side Dish
  • Vegetable or Fruit Platter
  • **No desserts needed – we will have a Baden-Powell Cake**

Bring enough for 8 - 10 people, as well as appropriates serving utensils.

Beverages will be provided.

Bring your own plates, cutlery and cup!
