 Good Morning Roxanne,

Just a quick email to let you know that we got in late last night and Lucky Lady is fine after the trip. The ponies travelled well, we fed and watered them for the night and they were happily munching away within minutes. Thank you for giving us the privilege of having such a nice mare, we will really enjoy her and she is so beautiful. We know it is hard for you to part with her and I hope that we can give her the same loving care that you did.

We'll let the ponies rest for awhile, then go on down to Keremeos probably tomorrow (that's only a 2 1/2 hour trip) where they will be at my place. Lisa comes down to help about every second week and we are so excited about working with the ponies. Please keep in touch.

Sincerely, Lisa and Charlotte

Hello Roxanne,

Just to let you know that the papers have arrived for Lucky Lady and thank you.  I wish you could have seen her yesterday - we had a huge wind storm and all the ponies were pretty excited. When I let her out of her paddock, she ran out bucking and kicking, then stood right up on her hind legs pawing the air for the longest time.  She did this three times. I just couldn't believe it, she was so pretty.

I really like her. Every morning, she waits to be put in for the day (there's always a treat in her tub) and she seems very happy with the routine. Lady is in the next paddock to Young's Precious Moments and her filly, everyone seems to get along fine over the fence. She is hopefully bred, at least hasn't shown signs of coming back into heat.

Well, I'm out for chores.  Lisa really enjoyed her time at the Olds show, a little tough with the baby to look after as well as the ponies.

                                                                Bye for now, Charlotte

Hey!
Thank you for the photo. Very gorgeous pony!
I have never ending Pepsi stories. I bought him a flymask, and he decided he
didn't like it, so he kept trying to take it off. I'd tell him he's a bad
boy and put it back on. He finally realized he gets protection from the
flies, so he tries everything to keep it on! One time I called him over and
he was being very stubborn. I finally started to baby talk to him and he
wandered over and started nuzzling me.
Make sure you don't sell that little filly! I will for sure take her when
she is weaned. I just bought a grade pony and her filly who is only a few
months old, so they can be pastured together for company. She's the only one
you have for sale, so I want first dibs! =-) What do you call her for short?

Talk soon!

Hi Roxanne ,

Sexy Lady and Golden Idol are really enjoying themselves . They spend their
days munching the grass in our field , and then head back into the barn at
night . Occasionally they take off across the field just for a bit of fun ,
and can they run ! They are like racehorses .
We think Sexy Lady is a lovely pony - she is very friendly and good natured

Sexy Lady is happy and healthy . She is friendly and affectionate and always
comes to the gate to meet us .

We have some photos to send to you , but we dont have your address - if you
could email it then we will send them .

Sincerely

Peter .

Hello,

I didn't get the papers yet, but I'm sure they'll come soon. No hurry!

Pepsi's sire is gorgoeus. I cannot wait to see a picture of him! Pepsi must be just like his dad. I ride Pepsi bareback all the time, and he's a complete angle. I will send you a photo of him today, when I go pick  them up. I love Pepsi so much, and I think he feels the same! I was once playing with my baby horse and Pepsi ran over and stood by me with his head over my shoulder for almost an hour. He's much more then a pony to me, he's almost exactly like a human. This is one pony I will Never part with. You can be happy to know, he'll will be spoiled and with me until the day he dies!.

Take Care!

Roxanne,

Prince seems to have settled in pretty good.  The boys rode him for a quick ride on Friday night and then again yesterday.  They both seem pretty comfortable around him...they have been brushing him.  He is a sweetheart.  Everytime we go up the hill he has his head sticking through the fence waiting for someone to pet him.  He isn't too sure about our dog right now.  We have a chocolate lab who likes to be everywhere we are.  He sits outside Prince's fence when we are up there.  Colton rode him by himself yesterday and was quite happy about it.  He even helped put the saddle on and off.  We have to get him a bit and bridle yet.  Do you have any other geldings that you are breaking to ride that will be ready within the next two years.  Haven't decided if we will be buying a horse for my youngest next year or waiting another year and he can just ride Prince also.  So far, I love Prince.  When Colton was riding him yesterday, if he had any problems getting him going, I just had to get in front of Prince and call him.  Colton is pretty excited, as there is a light horse show that we are going to put him in.  He will be in the lead category, so he won't be riding by himself.  Ever since we got Prince home I had to find his cowboy boots and he has been wearing them all over the place, even with his pyjamas on when he gets up in the morning. Will take some pictures of Prince in his new home and get them sent to you.  Once again, thanks so much!!!

Hi Roxanne; The ponies are doing great! Ice has been going in the barn at night and Rainbow seems to be coping okay with the weather. They do not get along too good, so one has to stay outside. Richard does not like tying Rainbow up in the stall at night because she is too good at untying knots. They are quite the pair! They haven't changed a whole lot except grown a bit bigger. Drop by and see them whenever you get a chance, just call to make sure we are home.

Good hearing from you and how are your ponies doing? And how many babies are you expecting this year?

Later...

Prince is doing fine. He hasn't been rode a lot since the snow has come as we had to rent a place in town. We are actually moving intou our half finished house tonight. The kids absolutely love him. I think we have decided that Colton will ride him for 2 more years and then he will become Logan's horse and we will get Colton something different. One of the other ponies that we previously had had a colt last spring, so Prince and the baby have become pretty good buds. He has been out around the bigger horses and is doing good with them also. Colton is asking when he can go in another show. He absolutely loved taking Prince in the last show. We may get him into 4-H with Prince in the fall.

HI Roxanne. I will take pictures of her tomorrow. I just wanted to tell you how unbelievable your pony breeding is as she has the bEST temperment and personality already and is only a yearling!!!! I pulled her from the herd today and walked her over to the main barn where the indoor arena is and all the show horses and i walked her right into the wash rack which can be very scary to them the first time as it has mats and looks so different and i gave her a bubble bath. She was so good and loved the bath!!!! Just wanted to tell you what exceptional ponies you breed and cant wait for my little girl to be able to brush her and love her as she is her pony!!!!!

Hi Melanie; I love to see some pictures of Whiskyjack U R MI Gem, I hope everything is going well for you. I sold three ponies this year and just didn't have enough, I need three more for three more customers. The prices have went up high in the Section A Welshes, people want yearling and two year old fillies but didn't have enough to sell. I sold one brood mare for $2200. and one 2 year old stud for 1800. and a two year old gelden not broke for 1800. I also purchase B's this year.
So yearling and two year old fillies sell at 2000. to 1800. now. I have change the look of my site, take a look.
