Gem is a beautiful dapple Grey Section A Welsh mare with a  docile personality ,not a mean bone in her body and a true mountain pony conformation.  Gems foals are very trainable and real easy going like mom, so customers are very please with her offspring because of their calm personality. Gem is a pony that has never been broke to ride but everyone can jump on her back anywhere in the field and she just stands there  .Gem has given childern many rides also, she is such a safe pony for anyone to be around. Gem's sire Young's Country Rock has won many championships in halter and harness. When I first  seen Gem's sire at Stan Young's he took away my breath with his beauty and breathtaking movement. Gem's Dam  I fell in love with right away, in Stan's large herd of ponies, she was the only one who kept coming up to me and wanting me to love her all the time. I bought three ponies from Stan's Estate sale over the phone.  Stan Young  has bred some outstanding ponies and his ponies are all over the world, U.S.A. and Japan to name a few.

Gem has some lovely old bloodlines,Bengad Dombeya who had a big influence in the show ponies , he came from England. Gem's sire , Young's Country Rock,who has won many championships In-Hand and Harness. Plus Gem's Dam is also a champion. Triple Joy's Blue Lady who received many progeny of Dam awards at Alberta's Horse improvement program. Gem has Revel Honey Bee, beautiful Palomino who did well in the pony shows also .Plus Young's says it all, Stan young who raised some of the best show ponies in Alberta, who are champions IN-Hand, harness and Hunter/Jumper events. Plus some of his bloodlines are getting showing in the U.S.A. also.
