Custom Made Scrapbooks
I offer custom made scrapbooks, both traditional paper and digital, for those who love the idea of having a scrapbook but do not have the time or patience to invest in the venture! Scrapbooking is not for the faint of heart. To produce quality and quantity takes time and supplies.
While I will come up with the design ideas and assemble the pages, you will have a say every step of the way. I will plan and roughly layout each page and e-mail or meet with you to share examples. This will allow you to be a part of the process, after all the album is your memories and your heirloom.

Some common questions...
1. How long does it take you to complete an album?
An album consisting of 20 pages can normally be completed within one month's time. From the time I receive your approval of the preliminary plans for your first page, to the scanning of your last completed page for you to view. I will make every attempt to complete a project if you need it by a certain date. There will be an additional fee for books needed in a shorter time frame.
2. What about journaling?
Journaling is what makes a photo album a scrapbook. Handwriting, no matter how awful you think, is a tremendous asset to the scrapbook. That said, I rely heavily on computer fonts for journaling on layouts.
You will receive an e-mail of my plans for each page. With each page I give you the opportunity to e-mail me any journaling you wish to have included. At your request I can also provide an empty space in which you can hand write your own journaling once you receive the album. I will add word art, quotes or poetry that I feel lends itself to the page, however I will NOT journal for you.
3. I have started a scrapbook but have not had the time to finish it. Do you also complete albums for people?
Certainly.
To determine your cost, I would charge $17.00 per single sided page. There may
also be a supply charge, but the amount will depend on how much is needing to be
completed. Your deposit would be 50% of that figure.
If you have a going theme you have created in your scrapbook (i.e., a color
theme) I would gladly attempt to continue with what you were going for if at all
possible.

Pricing
Traditional Paper Scrapbooks
A single $15.00 supply fee is required for all full size albums (10-20 pages at 12x12). This will cover the cost of specific patterned papers, and embellishments needed to personalize your album.
The charge for a paper scrapbook, 12x12 is $17.00 per one sided page.
On any given page there can be anywhere from 1-8
photographs on the layout. To figure an estimate on the total number of pages
your photographs will need, I take the total number of photographs you plan to
submit and divide it by four (average number of pictures per page). That number is then multiplied by seventeen, plus
the $15.00 supply fee and that will give you an estimated total cost. A 50%
deposit of the estimated price quote is required for the creative process to
commence.
Adjustments to the estimated total price quote are likely. I will not add any
additional charges to your estimated cost without your approval. Adjustments are
a result of finding that your photographs require more pages than were initially
anticipated in the price quote. If your photos require less pages than
anticipated, I will deduct the number of pages not created, at $17.00 a page,
from your total estimated price quote.

A single $15.00 fee is required for digital albums to cover supply costs.
All digital albums will be completed in Photoshop CS2 format. The charge for a digital scrapbook page is $15.00 per one sided page. Upon completion you will receive a single disk that contains all digital pages in print format. You will then simply take the disk to the print house of your choice. If you choose I can arrange printing and set up your album for a fee of $25.00.
