Back-Ups

I posted this last week, but we still had some glitches I apologize to all of you faithful blog readers who wondered why nothing was being posted. Read the following and you'll understand why.

Yes my journal was silent last week (two weeks now). Not because I didn't have anything to write about or because I was on vacation. No, it was because my computer hard drive had a heat stroke of the severest variety. And of course I hadn't backed up my files in a while so needless to say...I'll have to redo a number of things and some things I will simply be unable to retrieve.

Why do we have to learn lessons the hard way?

I'm not sure, but what I do know is that these types of lessons often stick better than the easy lessons. Obviously there's no simple equation as to how we best learn and grow in life, but it's often that when we go through something that we gain the most wisdom.

Although in this case it's merely the loss of information....I hope that I am now wise beyond my years! :)
