Construction:
Every Flat Cat Mat begins as well-primed canvas before the design is rendered in pencil and hand painted using multiple layers of acrylic paint, pigment and glaze. Three to five coats of sealant are applied to protect the design. Lastly, the edges are turned and secured with glue for a clean, sturdy finish. Having at least nine different layers of primer, paint, and sealant applied during production, Flat Cat Mats are sure to withstand years of daily use.
