Care:
Flat Cat Mats are durable, needing only occasional cleaning with mild soap, and a soft rag. Over time, small fissures may appear in the sealant on the surface of the mat; this is an inherent quality and is virtually un-noticeable if the mat is kept clean.
With years of use, the mat's surface may begin to appear dull as the sealant wears thin. Simply re-coat the surface with water-based polyurethane, following the instructions on the sealant packaging, to restore your mat's luster.
Avoid folding your mat as creases may be permanent and will compromise the mat's longevity. To store your mat, roll it into a cylinder, design-side out, then slide it into the card-board tube provided.
