Is there a better way to enjoying a fine spring day than by blowing off work and going for a ride?
I thought not!
The route took me through the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Spectacular stuff.
Leaving Calgary around 8:30 am or so the route took me to Canmore, Banff, Castle Mountain, Radium, Golden, The Louise Lodge and then Home.
Close to 700 km total after a little sight seeing
The weather couldn't have been better. The temperature was a few degrees above freezing when I left and warmed up to 21 as the day progressed. I just kept shedding clothing to compensate.
