Born from a single post to rec.motorcycles the North American Reeky Tour has grown to over eighty riders circling the continent and crossing the Pacific to Hawaii passing a custom T-Shirt to mark the occasion. Ok, so here's the deal. The North American Reeky Tour is similar to a relay. Starting in Houston Texas the Tour has covered the Lone Star State before crossing to Florida and then up the East Coast. Instead of a baton, we are passing a T-Shirt bearing the Reeky Logo. The Riders are signing the shirt at the end of each leg and then passing it on. As of January 05 the shirts have done the circuit around North America and are wintering in Hawaii. Upon their return in the spring they will be chauffeured through the central states and then transported back to Texas for the big reunion party. I wonder if this qualifies for a Guinness Record? This has been a great way to log some miles, put faces to the names or pseudonyms we are accustomed to and have some fun at the same time. This web page is set up to track the travels of the shirt and post ride reports for each leg of the tour. Two rules. All miles are logged on a bike, and if you take possession of the shirt, you are committed to moving them along the route. Recognizing some prefer to shield varying amounts of personal information, meetings could be arranged at public venues, restaurants, bars, or where ever if required. So there you have it. The Tour was Kick Started by one of our favorite Texans "Sunny" and is now waiting out the winter in Hawaii.
