Denomme's Darlings guarantees at the time of sale, that the bird(s) are in excellent health and disease free to the best of our knowledge.

Denomme's Darlings will provide each bird with a 7 day health guarantee provided it is not kept in the same air space as other birds in your home and is seen by a qualified avian veterinarian (at buyers expense) within 72 hours of receiving the bird(s). I suggest the appointment be made a couple days in advance of bringing the bird(s) home.

Denomme's Darlings will replace at their discretion, the bird(s) with another bird(s) of equal value, gender & similar age, or refund (if such bird(s) is unavailable), provided:

• Buyer has the bird(s) examined by a licensed, practicing avian veterinarian (at buyers expense) within 3 days of taking the bird(s) home from Denomme's Darlings and that such veterinarian determines that the bird(s) has a serious pre-existing condition that affects the health and well-being of the bird(s), or genetic deformities.

• Denomme's Darlings is so informed within 24 hours of such examination and a signed verification by the examining veterinarian is presented to Denomme's Darlings at the time the bird(s) (or un-cut leg band in case of death) is returned safely to Denomme's Darlings.

***In the event that the bird(s) die within the 7 day health guarantee you must immediately refrigerate NOT freeze the bird in a Ziploc bag and get it to a qualified avian veterinarian or laboratory within 24 hours for a necropsy to determine the cause of death.

***There will be no refund on inconclusive findings.

***Documentation of the initial examination will be required if any guarantee claims are made.

Special Conditions: If the bird(s) die accidentally at Denomme's Darlings before the bird(s) leave the aviary, a choice of another bird of equal value, gender & similar age, or a full refund on deposit will be given back.

***A veterinary exam is a normal and highly recommended procedure for any pet owner. Denomme's Darlings, however, is not responsible for any fees involved in said veterinary examination or testing done.

***Replacement guarantee only applies to birds(s) hatched, raised and owned by Denomme's Darlings.

ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

• I accept Money Orders, branch to branch transfer, online bank transfer, PayPal (if using a credit card through Paypal I charge their fee). Sorry I prefer not to accept cheques.

• All birds are to be paid in full prior to leaving, no exceptions.

• A $50 (per bird) deposit is required to hold a bird(s). This deposit will hold a bird for 2 weeks or until fully weaned.

• If the owner fails to pick the bird(s) up after the allowed time limit, the bird(s) may be re-sold, with the buyer receiving a transferable credit towards another bird(s).

SHIPPING

• Shipping available within Canada only from the Edmonton International Airport (weather permitting). 

• The purchaser will be responsible for payment of shipping/handling($ varies) & carrier fee($30). 

• Due to circumstances beyond our control we do NOT guarantee shipped birds.
