The critics chose it as the Top White wine between $15 and $30. </div> <bR> <div> In 1996, Stefan Leopold took over the winery from his father Dominikus and has since evoled into a veritable red wine specialist. Besides Zweigelt, Leopold produces Pinot Noir, which has lately been awared the “Vines d’Or” in Switzerland at the “Mondial du Pinot Noir”</div> <bR> <div> At the “Japan Wine Challenge 2003” Leopold received a “Bronze Medal” with the Pinot Blanc. </div> <bR> <div> Rigorous selection during the harvest, temperature-controlled fermentation, malolactic fermentation, and oak barrel aging are the root of such a success.
