Note Tanguay also lists (IV)Jean Baptiste Galarneau born March 9, 1738 Cap Sante son (III)Philippe Jos. Galarneau, Jean married 1769 Catherine Auclair and that Jean Baptiste Galarneau married June 18,1793 a Madeleine Simon of Quebec. Very interesting (*).

Married, January 22, 1769, (C. Geneste) Pte Aux Trembles, Quebec (II)-Marie Catherine Auclair born about 1749 Charlesbourg, epouse prior to 1769 Jean Baptiste Galarneau (*) and marriage 1793 Joseph Beaulieu. Marie Catherine Auclair is listed epouse to Jean Baptiste Garneau in 1784 possibly in Detroit. There appears to be much confusion concering these records. The years of 1784 to 1793 for Marie Catherine Auclair Galarneau/Garneau are unknown and its possible she was in the field?

Daughter (III)-Germain Auclair married, January 11, 1745, (III)-Angelique Marois, her second marriage 1793 Joseph Beaulieu.  (III)-Germain Auclair second marriage 1768 (III)-Jeanne Garneau daughter (II)-Jean Baptiste Garneau.
