of colour. Her technique involves first using a brush to build
up multiple layers of hot wax tinted with oil paint and dry
pigments, and then using a hit gun to fuse the layers to give
them dimension. Danuta's liaison of light, colour and mood,
plus the subtle tactile drama of her technique, combine to imbue
her work with rare immediacy and presence. Her artwork glows
