How To Get Here

Travel approximately 75km north of Nanaimo, and follow the signs directing you to exit at Buckley Bay. Here, you will catch the Denman Island ferry. When you disembark from the 10-minute sailing, drive across to the other side where you will find a second ferry. This will take you on another 10-minute crossing to Hornby Island.

Once you disembark, stay on Shinglespit Road, which eventually becomes Central Road. From the ferry, it is about 7.5km to the Community Hall, where you turn left on Sollans Road, and after another 1.5km, take left again onto Gunpowder Trail.
