Voters will be selecting one Mayor and six Councillors to represent Okotoks for four years. You may select up to six Councillors on the ballot. All votes count equally towards each candidate's total. The six candidates with the highest totals are declared elected.

Incapacitated Voters

There is an option for electors to access incapacitated voter services. This is a “vote at home” service provided to electors who are unable to leave their homes to attend a voting station due to an injury, illness or a disability. If an elector needs to access this voting support, they are asked to contact Cathy Duplessis at duplessis@okotoks.ca or at 403-995-2774 no later than noon on Friday October 13, 2017 to set up an appointment on one of the Advance Vote dates. Two deputies will attend the electors residence to take their vote.

On October 11, 2017, the Town will be conducting Institutional Voting at the following times and locations for seniors residences to accommodate those voters that have mobility issues:

Sandstone Lodge - 9:00 a.m.

Tudor Manor - 11:00 a.m.

The Heartland - 2:00 p.m.

If you require transportation to the polls, please contact me.
