Southview Child Care
is a not-for-profit centre established (under its
original name, McKernan Park Day Care) in
1975.
- SCC is accredited by the
Child and Family Resource Association
(CAFRA)
and is operated as a community service by First
Mennonite Church (FMC),
Edmonton.
- SCC offers both Day Care and
ECS (Kindergarten) programs.
- SCC is governed by a Board
that includes both church members (elected to
the Day Care Committee by the congregation) and
representatives of parents of children attending
the Day Care and ECS (Kindergarten)
programs.
