Final Checks

While you are doing “ nothing” you can look around, and check the levels on all of the machines. If you are on the audio board. (Responsibility of the TD).

Check that the CCTV Nursery is ON. (Make sure the Power switch is on too!)

Check where all the buttons are, and if they are where they are supposed to be.

Check the timing on the tapes, for possible switch over.

Check the track number of the CD burner, and change at about 10 min intervals.

Check that the peaks on the DA-88 are not going into the red at all!!!

Check that the levels on the CD Burner don't go too far.

Check to make sure all the tapes are actually rolling, and recording.

Check to see if the SCN/PGM switch is in the right place.

Check to see if the “weekends” button is in the right position.

Check that all your channel mutes that you need are off mute, and correspondingly, the ones you aren't using are ON mute. (Especially when Henry is speaking).

Check to see none of the channels are clipping.

When Henry starts singing at the end, gradually bring up the audience mikes and the “Korg” (The fancy metal colored piano/organ/synthesizer) to compliment him.

Check the PowerPoint slides, to make sure you are bringing up the correct effect.

Check the focus on the cameras, and the iris occasionally.

Answer the Phone, if necessary, you may be getting information you need.

Keep the conversation level in the room to a BARE minimum.... the only person speaking should probably be the “TD”.

Rewind the “JUICE” between services.
