This Camera is used a lot by the youth groups and is usually located in a hard case on top of the tin cabinet.

It uses mini DV tapes, located in the tape shelf.

If you are using the external walk around mike, you should plug the top mike into channel 2, and the walk around into channel 1. This way if the buttons are set to the middle position, it takes most of its signal from the walk around mike, but does pick up some signal from the top mike.

If you are doing "Man in the Street" interviews, the camera person should vary the shots, and not try to be steady. Move around a bit "on purpose" to enable you to vary your shot position to look more "natural".
