Tape Orders

Every Monday The Apple Seed sends over a tape order via email to Jayson.

Print out the Tape Order.

The labels are found on Jayson’s computer as a shortcut on the desktop. You need Jayson’s PW and User Name to access his computer.

There is a log that the information is entered into after the order is filled. This is found in the “Tape Duplication” folder on the desktop. Go to the present month and enter the numbers into the log.

At the start of the month there is left 4 spaces for each of the main sermon weekends.

You can change the “Master” tape deck with the little switch on the back. Don’t forget to change it back when you’re done.

Check off the order when done, and cross it out when it is entered into the log.

The Sets are located in the Sets folder. Note the covers for the SETS use a different paper. (Bright White) and this is located under the CD burner. The paper is trimmed with the paper trimmer in the Production room.

There is a folder that goes by year for the tapes. So for 2002, you look for Tape Dup 2002.

The Mastered Tapes are located on the shelf behind the door, by month and year. If a Dymo label has not been attached to the latest MASTER tape, you can do this. Ross writes “MASTER” onto the label and the length of the tape. The label-maker is located in the drawer with the remote controls, under the DAT.

Note when a CD is done from a Master, you need to include the word MASTER on the label.
There is a “Master” template that you can rerun the labels through, after they have been made I find that below the hole works best. Note when you rerun the label sheets through…they have to be inserted UPSIDE DOWN.

The cases for the sets are in the Appleseed cupboards, and there are more in the store-room downstairs.

There are some CD’s in Sharon’s room upstairs in the bottom drawer of the fire proof file cabinet. Others are stored in the other campus location.

The printer has to be set to the “Lexmark 320”. Go to the start menu… or use the selector in the print menu. The printer downstairs is the” Exec”.

The labels are placed face toward you, and bevel down.

Don’t forget to number the tapes from the machine they came from.
