Patch Cable Work Around
In the event that the DAT goes
down…..(the signal for the tape decks, CD burner, and VHS
normally is routed through this unit and it has to be in Rec mode
to feed the rest of the decks.) We need to be able to patch
around it using the patch bay.
The signal goes to the DVC pro recorder first, so we find DVC PRO
OUT on the patch bay, and go from there.
DVC PRO OUT TO TAPE 1 IN….. (TAPE 1 HAS TO BE IN REC MODE TO
CONTINUE.)
TAPE 1 OUT TO HHB ( CD BURNER) IN. ( REC MODE) SET HHB INPUT TO
ANALOG (instead of digital 1)
HHB OUT TO VHS IN
That should enable a work around should the DAT FAIL.
The DA88 takes it’s signal direct from the board so we
don’t need to patch around this.
