The Audio recording computer is located to the left of the tape
duplicators. It is online with everybody else.
Turn on the MONITOR. The computer itself is left on. If you need
to log in use the Powerpoint person's login id or Jayson's
Click on the Get it on CD icon shortcut.
Exit out of the first dialogue box. or click, the "Create
Audio CD".
Hit the RED record button. You will see the audio level bars if
something is going on.
If you dont get a signal, make sure that the Computer
volume is up on the Ultralink. Usually set somewhwer around 3.
Go to the speaker icon at bottom right, click on it.
Make sure the MIC is NOT muted.
See that the signal is set on 44.1 MHZ for standard CD quality.
16 bit.
Go to OPTIONS then PROPERTIES.
Recording (Mic)
Mic Vol select.
Now to start the recording just hit the RECORD button
on the lower left. If you record the worship service and
everything, it takes a lot of space, but it ensures that you will
get everything.
I noticed that the computer kept going to sleep,
and I had to wake it up by moving the mouse. So I corrected this
by changing the POWER settings to sleep after 2 hours. This
should ensure that it doesnt sleep on you while you are in
a service. If it does, just move the mouse. We may have to set
this to longer or never, and simply shut off the monitor when the
session is done.
Ok
.to stop the recording hit the stop button. We get in the
habit of leaving the media running for a few minutes after the
service, but we need to stop the recording on the computer to
save space RIGHT AWAY!
Save the file AS the Speaker name, and the date. NOTE: do not use
slashes or semi colons cause it doesnt like that!
Save it to the "Appleseed folder" in the C
Drive where these files are stored til the mastering is done.
