TA 101 is a comprehensive introduction to the theory and practice
of Transactional Analysis for the purpose of facilitaitng people to be fully themeselves:, competent, cabaple, powerful and emotionally literate. Developed by Canadian born Eric Berne
M.D., Transactional Analysis began in the USA as a method of organizational
analysis/intervention, a theory of personality and human interaction,
and a method of individual psychotherapy. TA concepts offer clear
and effective strategies for personal and organizational growth
and change. It is practiced around the world by certified practitioners
whose roles include being executives, leaders, consultants, coaches,
psychotherapists, trainers and educators. TA 101 is a pre-requisite
for further training and an essential element for working individually in a coaching or counselling relationship with a Transactional Analyst working for The Change Institute.
TA concepts are used to develop people and organizations and in
particular to:
- facilitate people to be fuly themselves
- change peoples perceptions and responses to stressful
situations
- change family/organizational cultures,
- analyze disappointing outcomes and develop options for change
- improve effectiveness in the areas of problem solving,
decision making, and communication
The focus of these 2 days is to teach people how to create personal
and organizational success. We will learn concepts that bring these
skills to life. Participants will examine the theory of TA, including
structural analysis: transactional analysis - rules of communication,
strokes, time structuring and discounting; script analysis; game
analysis; racket analysis.
Being effective in our life and in our work depends on having skills
that TA will develop in you:
- communication skills
- relationship skills with self and others;
- achieving results at work or in your personal life
- permission and power enough to do things well and fulfill our
personal and organizational potential.
