Emilie van der Hoorn is a multidiscipline artist, with work ranging from subtle graphite works to a variety of digital media. Her work combines fun, dynamic energy with a push for new aesthetic solutions. Familiarity with both traditional media as well as contemporary materials results in unique hybrid works. She draws her inspiration from daily life, attempting to frame the beautiful but often forgotten everyday objects and scenarios.

Emilie is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Calgary, completing a double major in Fine Arts and Art History.
