	Steve Chila, your licensed guide, has been fishing both The Harrison and Fraser waterways for over fifteen years. He brings to your fishing experience, an enthusiasm and love for the sport that has become a passion for him over the past decade. We are fully licensed and insured and also are certified First-aid trained and equipped in the unlikely event that medical assistance is required. We live locally in the Fraser Valley and participate in community events with our family on a continual basis. What we provide We provide custom designed fishing charters for individuals and small groups, using our 18-foot Weldcraft jet boat. We are able to accommodate 3 adult clients, but also encourage singles or pairs to use our services. All fishing gear, lures, bait, hip waders and transport on the river are included.
Our target fish
We have two species of fish that we target for our clients. First and most commonly sought after is *salmon, of which we fish for Chinook (spring), Coho, Chum, Pink and the most popular for a lot of folks, Sockeye. Springs begin to appear in early May and increase with several different runs throughout June and into July. The end of July brings the sockeye upriver to our much-anticipated excitement. These energetic fish provide excellent action when hooked and their red meat is one of the best cooking fish available to Lower Mainland anglers. Pinks enter our area in mid to late August of every odd year, which means this year (2005) they are headed our way. The Pink fishery affords multiple opportunities to fish with light gear and have a high expectation of many hook-ups. Our second targeted species of fish is sturgeon*. These denizens of the past bring a smile to angler’s faces when the bite hits and after a few minutes of struggling with the rod they often comment, …“I think I hooked a log”. These fish can commonly reach lengths in excess of 6 feet and often weigh over 300 pounds. Needless to say, we use much heavier gear for these giants, as well as a fighting harness for client comfort and safety. These sturgeon are only targeted on a catch and release basis, as some areas of the upper Fraser have an unstable population.	*Non-alcoholic beverages and water are provided.*

	Being family oriented ourselves; we offer a reduced rate for children accompanying a parent. Our goal is to give children an opportunity to enjoy a special fishing experience just like the adults. Even the kids have great trips!!

	Rivers we fish
	We are licensed to guide on The Fraser and Harrison Rivers. The areas we guide on are both fine salmon producing waterways and within a one hour drive of Vancouver B.C. Our base is most often in the Chilliwack area, utilizing Island 22 boat launch for its centralized location and better security for our equipment and your vehicles.

	Our rates
	One 6-8 hour day - $175.00 per person (plus 7% GST) Custom trips can be tailored to fit almost any time. We are very flexible and will work around your schedule. We prefer to guide one or two adult clients for space, but will accommodate three, if necessary, and you don’t mind getting comfy with each other.
