Recreation

 

The Annual Innisfree Fish and Game Association Trout Pond Derby was held Saturday, August 18th at the Innisfree Trout Pond.  Approximately 50 people attended the event and great fun was had by all.  The fish were biting and hot dogs and pop were sponsored by the Innisfree Fish and Game.  A big thank you goes to the Innisfree Hotel for providing all the ice for the coolers.

Betty Saik took the prize for the biggest fish weighing in at three-quarters of a pound while Darrell Pasieka took home the prize for the most fish caught at 24 and the first fish of the day caught.

The Innisfree Fish and Game Association would like to thank everyone for coming out and hope to see you all next year!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Innisfree Farmers Markets run the first and third Wednesday from March to December. Featuring local crafts, baking, artwork etc. and in season specials (ie. spring bedding plants and Christmas items) at the Innisfree Senior's Hall on main street.

The Innisfree Campground opens May 13, 2006. Campground closes for the season mid September 2006.  Now taking bookings for the group camp site for the 2007 season - don't be disappointed.

Innisfree Prairie Bank of Commerce Bank Museum opens May Long Weekend 9-4 pm
daily.
