Membership Dues: The Society membership year runs from September 1 to August 30.  The portion of your dues that stays in Calgary is our only means of covering newsletter and mailing costs, as well as paying travel expenses for out-of-town speakers, who we otherwise would not have the privilege of hearing.

The portion of the membership dues allocated to the Toronto SSEA is issued to help sponsor and promote Canadian archaeological expeditions to and to pay for the journal published by the Toronto SSEA. There are two membership categories:

    Ordinary (Full) Membership: $60.00  per year
    (20.00 remains in Calgary & 40.00 goes to National Board)
    Receive the SSEA Calgary Newsletter, an invite to any local events, access to all lecturers (Calgary Toronto and Montreal),SSEA Journal, quarterly (from Toronto, with the news on recent excavations and findings in Egypt), access to SSEA website (thessea.org), have a vote on all issues at the Calgary SSEA and have a vote at the SSEA’s annual general meeting in Toronto.
    Associate Membership: $45.00 per year
    Receive the SSEA Calgary Newsletter, an invite to any local events, access to all lecturers (Calgary Toronto and Montreal), have a vote on all issues at the Calgary SSEA, and have a vote at the SSEA’s annual general meeting in Toronto.
