Long ago I was born in Winnipeg, where I went to school and received two degrees in Civil Engineering.
1989-current I have been an active member of the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers
1991-1993 I was the founder and organizer of the first $100 Film Festival.
1992-1993 I was a member of the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers Board of Directors and acted as secretary.
1991-1992 I made the film “Weekend in Calgary” (Super 8). This film was shown at the $100 Film Festival, Calgary 1992 where it won an award for “consistent vision.” It was also shown at Splice This, Toronto 1998.
1994 I made the film “Who Shot the President” (super 8). This film was shown at the $100 Film Festival, Calgary 1994, where it received an honourable mention. It was also shown at Lost, Lonely and Vicious YYZ, Toronto 1995, and at the Metro Cinema, Edmonton 1996.
1995 I made the film “If I knew . . .” (Super 8). This film was shown at the $100 Film Festival, Calgary 1995. It was also shown at Splice This, Toronto 1998.
1996-1997 I made the film “The Fence” (16mm). This film was shown at the following festivals.

1999 I made the film “Line of Taxis” (16mm). This film has been shown at several film festivals in Canada and the U.S.

∙ Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival - Victoria B.C. - 2000 February 5
∙ Bare Bones Film Festival - Muskogee, OK - 2000 March 25 (Foreign Short Runner-up)

∙ The First Annual Pirromount Film Competition Honorable Mention

2001 I completed a 16mm version “Who Shot the President”. I completed the film “My Next Film” on 16mm, and it was shown at the $100 Film Festival in November, where it received an honourable mention.
2004 I complete a new film titled “My Most Difficult Case.” This was shown at the 2004 $100 Film Festival in Calgary.
2005 I began developing a feature length film project.
2006 My Next Film has been acquired by distributor Ouat Media. If you are interested in exhibiting the film, please contact them. I completed the script for the feature project.
