Soaring is sustained motor-less flight in a glider where the pilots' skills are used to find favourable air currents and remain silently aloft.
Flights in Cold Lake area occasionally exceed altitudes of 10,000 feet and durations of five hours! Our club provides everything from familiarization flights, ground school and basic flight instruction to cross-country soaring and competitions, all for some of the lowest prices in Canada. Membership is open to everyone and students must be at least 15 years of age. |
