FITNESS 4 U

 

We offer a large variety of classes allowing for cross-training to complement your fitness regime or you may just want that specific class.

 

 

    HAPPY HOUR AT THE JJ PARR, NOON CLASSES ARE FREE TO COMMUNITY CARD HOLDERS

STEP

An aerobic component 30 to 45 minutes using the REEBOK STEP.  This class is great for strengthening your heart muscle as well as your gluts and quads.  We supply the STEPS.

BODY SCULPT

An overall muscle strength and endurance experience right from your nose to your toes.  Our aim is to create muscle symmetry.  This class will also assist you in improving your flexibility the 2nd most important component on the Fitness Rainbow!
 

TAE BOX

Boxing, kickboxing, and other various martial arts based techniques coupled with some skipping (you don't have to be a skipper, we have other options). This is NOT a self-defense class, but it is a great class to add to your existing fitness regime..
 

SPINNŽ

Enlivened by athletic racing.  Power pacing for indoor cycling takes the guess work out of training.  This class provides a non-impact cardiovascular workout which is sure to build power and endurance.
 

CARDIO CIRCUIT

Get your aerobic (cardio) workout here.  Aerobic component could be SPINN, stairs, skip, step, or old fashioned jog (march) or a combination.  Stop by and see what the flavour(s) of the day is.  REMEMBER TO HAVE FUN!!!

INTERVAL & WEIGHTS

Combine a Hi/Los or Step aerobic component with the benefit of resistance equipment to build on your muscular strenght and endurance.  This class is sure to get you off of your FITNESS PLATEAU.  Allows you to work a little harder each time.
 

20/20/20

Twenty minutes of step or cardio, twenty minutes of weights and twenty minutes of yoga, stretching or Pilates.  Get it all in one workout.
 

SUPER CIRCUIT

Using weight training stations and steps or Spinn bikes to sculpt your body.
 

CARDIO COCKTAIL

Twenty five minutes of step followed by thirty minutes of traditional Hi/Low aerobics followed by a cool down and stretch.
 

STEP 'N CORE or SCULPT

A blend of cardiovascular training and functional core stability conditioning or an overall muscular strength and endurance component.

STOTT'S PILATES

A cross between floor aerobics and yoga.  Build up your strength from the inside out.  Improve your posture, stamina, coordination, flexibility and joint mobility.  Firms Abs, relaxes and rejuvenates.

COST

DROP IN: $6.00 (with Community Card) or $7.00 (NO Community Card/Noon Classes)

SESSION PASS:
$50 (unlimited classes during current session with Comm Card) or $62 (unlimited classes during current session NO Comm Card) 

12 CLASS PASS:
$60 (to be used within a year of purchase with Comm Card) or $72 (to be used within a year of purchase NO Comm Card)

*A minimum of 5 members per class is required for class to run
*A maximum of 25 member per class

**PLEASE NOTE THAT A FULL MEMBERSHIP COMMUNITY CARD IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL FACILITIES AND ALL ACTIVITIES. NOON HOUR CLASSES ARE FREE TO THE MILITARY AND TO  FULL MEMBERSHIP COMMUNITY CARD HOLDERS.  HOWEVER FACILITY DROP-IN FEES ARE STILL APPLICABLE TO NON-CARD HOLDERS THAT DO NOT POSSESS A FULL MEMBERSHIP COMMUNITY CARD.
