He is an active volunteer in the Computer Society and in IEEE.

Jon Rokne is a professor and former Head of the Department
of Computer Science at the University of Calgary.

As President of IEEE Computer Society he will provide leadership
for IEEE and work with members, staff and volunteers
to advance technology for the benefit of society.
