Aagaard/Deichman Family

"Since it is normal in Denmark to use Parish, Town, Farm and House names as family names, one can consider it almost for certain that Aagaard, which is the name of a couple of outlying towns and farms, has given the name to several families. It originated from Sjaelland, and started with Islinge Sleagten, and from Southern Jutland and a third form North Jutland. Together they are called Julstrup Slaegten."
