Rick and Owen's property is located 20 minutes south of Nanaimo on Nanaimo River. They have 5 acres of amazing property. The river is a short walk away and is great for swimming and sunbathing. There are miles of supernatural trail hiking. You'll find outdoor showers with hot water, flush toilets, an outdoor Kamp Kitchin, and many other things like our camper/cabins and our Klubhouse REMEMBER: We live our lives with our friends outdoors. Please feel free to email us and become part of our mailing list and become our friends! While this is indeed a "Gay Man's Retreat" there are times where there will be women on the property. Check out our events page and see if there is a weekend that excites you! If you are looking for a quiet time then the weekends where there is no events would be good for you! Also please note that it is usually quieter during the week. Located minutes away from the Nanaimo Airport....20 minutes south of Departure Bay Ferry Terminal and 10 minutes south of Duke Point Ferry Terminal. There is a Farmers Market and a Beer and Wine store with in ten minutes from Rick and Owen’s Once you know when you would like to come....email us and we will send you all the other information you might need...Like directions on how to get here.
