Broodmares
At Chesla Farms we believe that our broodmares' bloodlines are as important as our stallions. We believe that training and finishing our mares is crucial to guaranteeing our foals' solid minds and athletic ability.
Our broodmares live in a organic environment. They spend most of their time roaming on pastures, living a free life. We believe this produces healthier offspring. We allow our mares free pasture all summer and catch them only to ride or show. This gives them the freedom to be a horse and live as they were meant to. Our cutters and reiners, as well as our roping stock, enjoy this lifestyle.
