KICHLER, Adam, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2000 in Delta Hospital , age 90. Born in Sokolovac, Croatia May 28th, 1909. Predeceased by his first wife Anna and 3 infant children, Sophie, Tony and Stephen, grandson Robert Ruscheinski (Bobby), brothers John Kichler and Joseph Kichler and sister Mary Vegh. Survived by wife Dora and daughters Regina (Willi) Ruscheinski, Mary (Manuel) Ruscheinski and Katie Gorse, 6 grandchildren, Anne (Tony) Adema, Stephen Ruscheinski, Mary (Andy) Johnson, Barbara Ruscheinski, John (Julia) Ruscheinski, Tony (Tyra) Ruscheinski and 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Eva (Mirko) Bosanac, Terezija Hranic, sister-in-law Emilie Kichler and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Adam was very generous and kind to family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Prayers will be held on Thursday, January 20th, 2000 at 8 pm at St. Joseph the Worker. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 21, 2000 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 4511 Williams Road, Richmond, B.C. Interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Adam Kichler may be made to the Delta Hospital Foundation, 5800 Mountain View Blvd. Delta, B.C. V4K 3V6 or a charity of your choice.
