Obituary: The Vancouver Sun, March 6, 2001
SITTER, Frank at the age of 78, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2001 at the Peace Arch Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by Sophie, his wife of 55 years, who he met and married in Saskatchewan. They moved to B.C in 1945. Here they raised their family and made their life together. He will be sorely missed by his sons, Raymond and his wife, Kelly, Robert and his wife, Susan and Wayne and his wife, Linda. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Leah, Andrea, Brandon, Shane, Meaghann and Jordan and great-grandchild, Damian; his brother Joe and his wife, Evelyn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, 7:30 pm with funeral mass on Thursday, March 8, 2001, 10:30 am, both at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2250-150 Street, South Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, 15521 Russel Street, White Rock, B.C. V4B 2R4 would be appreciated.
