TABER (HNS) — Following Prayers Monday evening at Humphries Funeral Home here, funeral services were conducted for John Kapel of Taber at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 7 from St Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Rev. C. J. Lyons officiating. Interment was in Taber Memorial Garden with burial arrangements directed by Humphries. Pallbearers were Frank Killlnger, Alex Hauser, John Tamtom, Wendy Sekura, Frank Sitter end Frank Merkl. Mr. Kapcl died at Taber Frlday, April 3, at the age or 53. He was born at Sokolovac, Yugoslavia March 14, 1906. He came to Canada in 1930 living in Saskatchewan and Vancouver before taking farm labor employment here in 1932. He retired in I955 due to poor health, and has resided in the Hashura Block during the past eight years. Survivors include a son Frank Kapel of Simcoe, Ont., and two grandchldren, his mother Mrs. Teresa Wagner of Detroit, Michigan, and two sisters Mrs. Teresa Kraker of Detroit and Mrs. Katherine Maltar of Courtland, Ontario. |
