LINGL - Mr. Josef Lingl of Sheridan Blvd., Simcoe passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday, September 3, 2001 in his 80th year. Josef was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Simcoe. Beloved husband of Kristina Lingl (nee Raubal). Dear father of Hilda Christmas (husband Kevin) of Simcoe. Cherished grandfather of Joe and Greg Clement of Simcoe. Also survived by 2 brothers, John Lingl (wife Pauline) and Frank Lingl (wife Pauline) both of Detroit; 2 sisters, Barbara Benisch (husband Josef) of Germany and Mary Penich of Simcoe and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 4 sisters; Elizabeth, Theresa, Anna and Katarina; 1 brother George and brother-in-law Tony Penich (1985). Friends may call at the Murphy Funeral Home, Delhi for visitation on Wednesday (from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm). Prayers will be held Wednesday evening at 8:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Brebeuf & Companions R.C. Church, Delhi on Thursday at 10:00 am. with Rev. Fr. Mark Poulin officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery.
