PENICH - Tony of 37 Grenada Drive, Simcoe, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Friday August 23, 1985 in his 62rd year. Beloved husband of Mary (Lingl) Penich. Dear father of John, R.R. 1, St. Williams; Steve, R.R. 2, Simcoe. Loving grandfather of Anthony and Dareyl. Dear brother of Mrs. Eva Tamtom, Alberta; Mrs. Frank (Katie) Gabriel Sr., Windsor; Mrs. Zeno (Annie) Stenke, Windsor. Funeral mass to be said at St. John Brebeuf and Companions Roman Catholic Church, Delhi, on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment Delih Cemetery. PENICH - Mrs. Mary Penich of Grenada Dr., Simcoe passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 in her 78th year. Member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Simcoe and St. Mary's Catholic Women's League. Former Mary Lingl. Beloved wife of the Late Tony Penich (1985). Loving mother of John Penich (Bonnie), R.R. #1 St. Williams and Steve Penich, R.R. #2 Simcoe. Cherished grandmother of Anthony Penich (Jennifer) and Darryl Penich, all of Stoney Creek. Dear sister of John Lingl (Pauline), Frank Lingl (Pauline), all of Detroit and Barbara Benisch (Josef), Germany and sister-in-law of Kristina Lingl of Simcoe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four sisters: Elizabeth, Theresa, Anna, Katarina and by two brothers: George and Josef Lingl (2001). Friends may call at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi for visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. C.W.L. Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be said on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Brebeuf & Companions Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Monday, July 15th at 10:00 a.m. said by Rev. Fr. Mark Poulin. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Haldimand-Norfolk Community Care Access Centre (Palliative Care Unit), Canadian Cancer Society or Victorian Order of Nurses will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
