DE BONA — Funeral service for Pete De Bona of Taber, beloved husband of Mrs. Teresa De Bona of Taber who died there Friday, Feb. 16, at the age of 54, was held Monday morning in St. Augustine's
Roman Catholic Church with Rev. C. J. Lyons officiating. Pallbearers were Steve Beers, George Sekura, Joe Bildershaim, Osward Kalvi, Lawrence Merkle and Albert Straga. Interment was in the
Taber Memorial Gardens. Humphries Funeral Home, Taber, was in charge. |

MRS. TRESA DEBONA of Taber, beloved wife of the late Mr. Peter DeBona, passed away on Monday, October 27, 1997 at the age of 75 years. Tresa was born on February 8, 1922 in Yugoslavia. She married Peter in Taber in 1938. They resided south of Taber for many years before moving to the family home west of Taber. Tresa is survived by three sons, Peter DeBona, Tom (Mary) DeBona and John (Pal) DeBona; her grandchildren, Clint (Jody), Jennifer, Kerry (Scott), Brenda (Ron) and Audrey (Mike) and Susan as well as her great-grandchildren, Braden, Ryan, Jenny, Parker, Magdelene, Dustin and Jocelyn; and one brother John (Diane) Sekura, Tresa was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1968, one son Joseph in 1957, her parents, one brother Joseph Sekura in 1940 and two granddaughters Sandra DeBona and Peggy OeBona. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church (5009-48 Ave.) Taber on Thursday, October 30 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Father David Meadows Celebrant. Interment will follow at a later date at Taber Memorial Garden. Arrangement in care of Reardon's SOUTHLAND FUNERAL CHAPEL, Taber. Telephone 223-8778. |
