Mary Kronstain, 87, formerly of Conway, died Monday evening, July 16, 2001, in the Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg, Pa.
Born Dec. 12, 1913, in Conway, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Mary Santus Sochats. A homemaker, Mrs. Kronstain was a member of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Conway; Christian Mothers of her parish; Conway Croatian Lodge, and the Conway VFD Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anton Kronstain.
She was the beloved mother of William Kronstain, Wexford; Lawrence Kronstain, Souderton, Pa., and David Kronstain, Rocky River, Ohio, and sister of Frank Sochats, Conway. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Friends are welcome to call today only from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Batchelor Brothers Rochester, 378 Jefferson St. at Ohio Avenue, where prayers will be offered Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Freedom.
