CUNNINGHAM, Mary Eva (nee, SZUCS) - at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, March 1, 2003. Mary is the beloved mother of Suzanne Comber and her husband Derek of Port Colborne and Brad Cunningham and his wife Kim of Monkton, Ontario. Dear sister of Kay Scordino and her husband Phil of Ancaster, Ontario. Proud grandmother of Amber, Megan, Devrick and Tessa. She was predeceased by her husband Roland, parents Steve & Catherine Szucs and sister Helen D’Amico. A native Wellander, Mary was employed as bookstore manager at Niagara College for 30 years. After retirement, she found many happy times in her tole painting class. Mary, dubbed "the voice of reason" will be missed by the gang. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4, Welland, Mary’s family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Father Norman Bordage c.s.c. of St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service from the Cudney chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto would be greatly appreciated by the family.
