RUSCHEINSKI _ Willibald (Willi) was born November 19, 1933 in Karamurat, Romania, and died February 21, 2007 in his 74th year. He was one of 11 children born to parents Alois and Rofina. Willi immigrated to Canada in January of 1952, where he met his wife Regina (nee Kichler). They were married on April 27, 1957.

He was a dedicated husband to Regina for almost 50 years, and a devoted father to Anne (Tony) Adema, Stephen, Mary (Andy) Johnson, and Barbara (William Vester). He was a caring and generous grandfather to Jodie (Thomas), Dan, Alyson (Robert), Sarah, Todd, Lindsay, David and Mary. He is survived by brothers Leo and Adolf, and sisters Leni, Betty (Tony), Emily (Reinhold), Erika and Margaret. He was predeceased by his parents, brother David, sister Aurora and son-in-law Andy. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, relatives and many friends. He was known for his calm temperament, dedication to family and his work as a cabinetmaker for over 50 years, whistling or singing as he worked.

Prayers will be on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, February 27, at 10:30 am, both at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 4451 Williams Road, Richmond, BC; Father David Poirier, S.A. officiating. Reception following at the Austria Vancouver Club, 5851 Westminster Highway, Richmond, BC. Entombment at Gardens of Gethsemani, Surrey, BC.
