About Us

Team Goju Go is made up of like-minded, active and fun-loving seniors. We are an enthusiastic, energetic and young-at-heart paddling team. Our name, "Goju Go" means 55 in Japanese though most of us are 50 to 60 plus years young men and women.

Team Goju Go is in its 3rd year of paddling. For the 2011 season, we will be racing in the Dragon Zone Regattas and Festivals as well as at the Harrison, the Steveston and the Kelowna Festivals.

We are looking forward to challenging ourselves to go beyond last year's results. Last year at the Kelowna Festitval, we captured the "bronze" medal in the Senior Division. Our great team effort won us the prize which we are proud to wear around our necks.

Team Goju Go practices are held on Wednesday nights at 5:45pm to 7:30 pm at the Dragon Zone. We'll have an orientation practice to introduce any newcomers to the fun sport of paddling. If you are looking for a Sr. team, please get in touch with Goju Go captain, Mich Soga.
