Boot Camp

 

It took Susan Cardinal almost five years to complete God’s Explorers. Making a documentary fraught with the sensitive issues of religion, politics and culture proved to be a challenge beyond her wildest imaginings. 

While she had spent time traveling across the North as a CBC radio journalist, the challenges she faced as a filmmaker were increased exponentially as she was required to tackle numerous editorial and logistical complexities.
