This one hour documentary explores the motivational and scientific reasons behind the human species' need to take risks. Writer/director Susan Cardinal  leaves no stone unturned, as she takes viewers inside the minds of several intriguing risk takers and the scientists who study their behaviors.

Marta and Mario, B.A.S.E jumpers at Bridge Day, West Virginia Marta and Mario, two seasoned participants in a B.A.S.E. jumping  event. B.A.S.E. jumping, like sky diving, is a death defying sport allowing no room for error. Both individuals agree, that despite having lost dear friends to the sport, it is an activity that makes them feel fully alive.
