Well, it's been a long time since there's been any news here at ALL NEIL ALL NIGHT and I must apologize for that. In the meantime I have been working on my solo cd and the other guys have all been busy too but rest assured, ALL NEIL ALL NIGHT will rise again!!!
People in both Calgary and Edmonton have approached me many times to say how much they have enjoyed our shows and to ask when we're going to be doing another. We had planned to do shows with Keystone both in Calgary and Edmonton in the spring and they just didn't come together. Our next plan was for the fall and we had a Calgary date lined up but then Neil himself announced a show here and rather than go up against the real thing we have decided to wait until 2009.
I do promise there will be shows in Calgary, the Edmonton area and elsewhere in Alberta in the new year.
Meantime ... GO AND SEE NEIL ... I have my tickets!!!

All Neil All Night is a celebration of the music of Neil Young, played by four of Calgary's top 'roots-rockers'. The band easily moves from the laid-back acoustic material synonymous with Neil's early years to the 'arena rock' that inspired a generation of grunge rockers. Kit Johnson's eerily familiar voice roots the sound and the musicians re-create the 'ragged glory' of Crazy Horse. And audiences love it!!!!
