ABOUT TINA BIELLO

Tina Biello is a professional actor and writer, having taught and performed extensively. She graduated with a BFA in Theatre from UBC and has worked with masks for eighteen years. She has had the privilege to study with mask teachers Peter Anderson, Christine Menzies, and Wendy Gorling. Tina currently teaches mask workshops to senior level drama students on Vancouver Island and Universities, including UVic. She has written a children's play, The Indigo Kids, which toured Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. She is involved as a poet in a multi-disciplinary art exhibition with a painter from Montreal. The exhibition, Acquarelle e poesie di Kalena, showed in Montreal in May 2009 and will be in Vancouver March 2010 with a whole new exhibit.
